for the last 4 years and recently appeared in”
The 100 finest places to stay in England”
published by The Sunday Times. These awards
reflect not on;y the standard of accommodation
but also the outstanding service and quality
of the food provided.
It
is situated in a Victorian building that has
been sympathetically renovated, keeping the
best features of its construction –large
spacious rooms, original fireplaces –
but adapted to meet modern requirements –such
as central heating ,double glazing and a water
system to ensure constant hot water for the
power showers, together with free wireless internet
access
All
rooms have large en-suite facilities, with one
twin having a bath . Each room has digital television
with DVD player and coffee/tea making facilities.
The bed and furniture is of pine construction,
the mattresses are high quality pocket sprung
for comfort. Each room has been individually
decorated and enhanced with luxury soft furnishings.
Breakfast
is made an enjoyable experience, with everything
from a full English cooked breakfast to cold
meats and cheeses, with the food being freshly
prepared using locally sourced ingredients,
wherever possible
The
aim is to provide a very high degree of comfort,
including high quality bed linen, excellent
towels, with furnishing of which we are proud.
The cleanliness and general structure is exceptional.
As well as all this, the house meets the latest,
most stringent fire and environmental health
regulations
